The first "Infrared Sunday" tribute band was formed in Denmark last month. They named themselves - "Infrared Funday".
The band debut show at the popular Copenhagen venue "Vega" was received with major excitement. The band played Infrared Sunday's biggest hits like "Winter", "Saves The Day", "Superhero Day" and also covers by "Abba" and the "Bee Gees".
Several fans got confused by the undeniable imagination between the tribute kings, guitar player, and the "Infrared Sunday" original guitar player - Yaniv Raphael Bar. The surprised fans were amazed to find out that the guitar player is no other than - Yaniv Raphael Bar. When asked about the weird duo-band situation, reply Raphael: "I wanted to explore and be involved in any interesting side project I could find… and this one fits me like a glove.."
The premier screening of "Striker", a short film by Ian Fisher and Rishad Dastur, took place in Hollywood last week. The soundtrack features several tracks from "Holes In The Sun" and also a guest appearance by "Infrared Sunday".
